The present work deals with the interaction of humans with their acoustic environment and specifically focuses on the negative impact of humans on it through noise pollution. To capture this relationship, i created a soundscape composition with recordings of natural sounds coming from the natural environment and artificial sound elements from urban and industrial environments. At the beginning of the composition the two sound elements are presented separately and then coexist together creating an audio-balanced soundscape. The final composition aims to provide a message of environmental awareness to protect environment from noise pollution. For the soundscape visualization i created motion graphics that resemble the characteristics of each soundscape.
